biological water purification

RK BioElements and Saddle Chips from Dania Plast are unique patented injection molded biofilter media for both nitrification and denitrification in fixed filters as well as moving-bed filters. Unique design

The injection molded RK BioElements and Saddle Chips are designed as open biofilter media for easy cleaning and maintenance The dimensionally stable biofilter media ensure an optimal flow and a low hydraulic loss through the filter. This, combined with a large surface area, means that the biofilters work with very high turnover rates The unique design also ensures that the media cannot be "wedged" together, but flow freely when they are used in moving-bed filters. To constantly be at the forefront of environmental requirements and legislation within biological water purification, the biofilter media have been continually optimized since launch.
